Why do we celebrate a Full Moon Meditation with others in circle?

According to Dane Rudhyar (I believe one of our great Astrologer/Philosophers), the energy released during New Moon are being progressively built, and the energy is focused at Full Moon at the consciousness level and becomes productive or subservient to mental forms. In other words energy is concentrated for our wishes and desires as thought forms, which start all that we are..

Gathering will start at 7:00 PM and the doors will be locked at 7:30 PM. This is not to lock anyone out, so call if you are running late and we'll wait for you if possible. When these groups gather there is an energy/sacred space that is created, and we do not want to break this circle, this is why the doors are locked. This is also why we do not allow children or anyone to be outside the circle as it is disruptive. This is the time when we are most affected by the MOON and her strength is available to us to fulfill dreams and to use the energy for love and healing of ourselves, others, and Mother Earth.

The event usually lasts about 2 hours. Please bring your drum, rattle, flute, special stones and the like. A floor pillow is a good thing. Chairs are available. Bring your favorite food to share for feasting after the ceremony. Owls Clover will provide plates, cups, napkins and utensils.
